My Role Model

"Yeah, it was more fun than anything else, because when we were out of school or if you got punished in school for anything it was plenty to do at home on the farm. You could cut wood, or you could stack wood, or you could help dad with the farm. Lots of things to do on the farm—plow the fields. That's whenever I fell out with farming, but of course it was a small farm. My dad, I don't know if he even finished high school or not but that was my hero, my role model."
